Welcome to CineFeed. By using our application, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CineFeed, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these terms, you cannot use the application.

2. Service Description

CineFeed is a social platform dedicated to cinema enthusiasts that allows you to:

• Discover and search for movie information
• Create and share reviews and ratings
• Create personalized lists (watchlist, favorites)
• Follow other users and interact with the community
• Receive personalized recommendations

3. Usage Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old to use CineFeed
• You must provide accurate information during registration
• You are responsible for your account security
• You cannot create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

4. User Account

4.1 Registration

To use CineFeed, you can register via:

• Google Account
• Apple Account

4.2 Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for all activities conducted with your account
• You must notify us immediately in case of unauthorized use
• You cannot transfer your account to third parties

5. User-Generated Content

5.1 Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you publish (reviews, comments, lists). However, you grant CineFeed a worldwide, non-exclusive and royalty-free license to use, modify and display such content within the platform.

5.2 Prohibited Content

You are not allowed to publish content that:

• Violates third-party rights (copyright, trademarks, privacy)
• Contains offensive, defamatory or illegal material
• Promotes violence, hate or discrimination
• Contains spam, malware or harmful links
• Violates local, national or international laws

5.3 Moderation

CineFeed reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms, without notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Attempt to access unauthorized parts of the system
• Interfere with the operation of the app or servers
• Collect data from other users without consent
• Use bots, scripts or unauthorized automation
• Create fake accounts or impersonate other people

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights relating to CineFeed (logo, design, code, content) are the exclusive property of CineFeed or its licensors. Movie data is provided by The Movie Database (TMDB).

8. Third-Party Services

CineFeed uses third-party services, including:

• TMDB (The Movie Database): For movie information, cast and images
• Appwrite: For authentication and database
• Google/Apple: For OAuth authentication

The use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service.

9. Limitation of Liability

CineFeed is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The service is always available or error-free
• The content is accurate, complete or up-to-date
• The app meets your specific needs

In no event shall CineFeed be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the app.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Substantial changes will be notified via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to CineFeed at any time, without notice, for violation of these terms or for other reasons at our discretion.

You can delete your account at any time from the app settings or by contacting us at hello@cinefeed.app.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by Italian law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Italian courts.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions will remain in effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CineFeed regarding the use of the application.
